Hello, my name is Aaron, and my partner and I found ourselves in a financial situation we never hoped to be in, and greatly need assistance.

Our living situation has been less than ideal, with the apartment we've been living in slowly but surely falling apart around us. Mold on walls, poor heating and cooling, and pest infestations are but a fraction of the things we have unfortunately had to deal with at this place.

At the start of 2026, we decided to seek out a new place, and have a much better place lined up and ready for us. Unfortunately, right as we were getting ready to begin our move, our landlord for the current place decided to hand us a bill of over $4000—something we do not have after placing down payments on a new place, and cannot afford ourselves in a timely manner. What's more, we may face eviction if not paid.

We're currently looking at legal options, but both of us at this point want to wash our hands of the whole situation and be done with this place. We've had no contact for over a year and a half, no way of contacting our landlord for over a year and a half, and hear nothing until they suddenly dropped this bill on us.

Add to this, our new place's move got pushed back, and we do not know the timeframe or have a new date. We're on borrowed time and need help. Anything which can be provided is appreciated, and will either go towards legal fees, paying off this bill, or the new place.
