At just 23 years old, my dear friend is fighting a battle no young mother should ever have to face alone. She is a single mother in Nigeria, currently suffering from severe sickle cell & jaundice. What should be the prime of her life has turned into a daily struggle for survival. Because of her condition, she is too weak to work and cannot provide for her little child. She lives with her elderly mother, who works long hours selling coal just to put food on the table. The income barely covers basic needs.

In their community, unreliable electricity, poor road access, and limited medical facilities make proper treatment incredibly difficult to obtain. The healthcare she urgently needs is simply out of reach without financial help. Her condition is serious. Without immediate medical care, her health could worsen. The possibility of her child growing up without a mother is heartbreaking and something we are trying desperately to prevent.

I have already contributed what I can to help with food and small expenses, but I cannot do this alone. That is why I am humbly asking for your support. The funds raised will go directly toward medical treatment and hospital care for her jaundice, medication and follow-up care, basic living expenses while she recovers, and support for her young child.
