I’m 18 years old, and my girlfriend and I are expecting our first baby. I know I made mistakes by having unprotected sex at a young age, and I’m not looking to blame anyone or make excuses. I’m taking responsibility and doing everything I can to provide for my growing family. I’m working, but my rent is higher than what I earn each month. After paying rent and other bills, I barely have enough left to afford baby essentials like diapers, wipes, clothes, a car seat, and other necessities. It’s been difficult trying to support both my girlfriend and prepare for our baby’s arrival.
