Help a worried mum stay by her 18 year old sons side
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Helen, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My 18-year-old son, Declan Rayner, suffered a serious head injury after falling off his skateboard and is now in an induced coma. As a mother, my first priority is to be by his side, offering my love and support during this critical time.
Unfortunately, taking time off work to stay at the hospital with him has created a significant financial burden. Without my regular income, I’m struggling to cover the costs of accommodation, hospital parking for our family, other ancillary costs, plus life’s general living expenses during this time. These mounting expenses are adding to an already incredibly stressful situation.
In the coming days and weeks it is unclear what Declan’s needs will be and what costs will be associated for his essential recovery. I’m humbly asking for your help to alleviate the financial strain in hopes of covering all needs to allow me and my family to support my son. I’m more than happy to keep everyone updated on my son’s progress. Generous donations will allow me to focus on what truly matters, being there for my son without the constant worry about money or the cost of living while I'm away from work.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can provide, whether through donations or by sharing this campaign with others. Every little bit helps, and we deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity.
Sincerely, Helen Rayner
