Help a Vixen Sister Move on From Domestic Violence

While our friend is reluctant to share her story publicly for security reasons, I can vouch both for her personally for 30 years, and for the seriousness of the situation.

In fact, I’m a witness in a criminal case against the perpetrator, and have provided multiple recordings to the police in an active prosecution. The charges are Domestic Battery and Child Cruelty. Unfortunately, the abuser was released pending trial.

Since Thursday, I have personally spent $600+ paying for a hotel while I finish getting my house ready for a roommate and her child. I’m also helping with logistics for getting the child to school and back, finding foster care for two kitties, and more. I wouldn’t do those things for just anybody, or in a situation that didn’t truly require it!

i will provide receipts/photos of fund transfers to our friend and/or costs I pay with my card for security purposes. Money will be used for car rental/purchase, legal fees, medical insurance premiums, and other uses directly related to securing her and her child’s safety.

Unfortunately, our Vixen sister has no car and has been stay-at-home for several years so is not currently employed. She’s also suffering from critically high blood pressure and the after-effects of a concussion. So it will likely take several months for her to get on her feet with total independence. But I know her, I know myself, I know God and I know the Sweet Briar circle, so I’m confident we will not find this to be insurmountable either.
