Help a Victim of Domestic violence with a baby

Hello, I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.

I have been a victim of domestic violence for years at the hands of my partner.

Initially, my partner was extremely apologetic about his behaviour and showed regretful emotions and bought me gifts so I give him the benefit of the doubt, believe he would change and it was just one time that he lost control and it wouldn’t happen again. But this was far from the truth and with the years the violence become worse and more often. My partner made me feel worthless, always undermining me, made me believe I couldn't survive without him by my side.

After years of abuse, I called the police on my husband. When my husband left the house, he took everything because everything was in his name, and I was left with nothing with my baby. I’m prohibited to leave with my child and return to my country. I have no family support here, no financial resources. And with all the injustices that are happening in my case where it doesn’t seem to matter what my ex-husband does or says; he gets away with all.

I’m sharing some of my story to ask for your help to raise money to pay my legal team.

Any money donated will be used to pay for the fees of an experienced legal team to help me fight injustice and for the security of my child and myself from a violent and manipulative man.
