I am a veteran living on a very limited income, and I’m reaching out for help because I want to give my family a forever home. Right now, I need to pay off a few debts so that I can qualify for a VA loan and buy a house before my lease is up in August. My biggest hope is to have us moved and settled before my son starts his first year of high school, so he can begin this new chapter in a stable environment.

My husband isn’t able to work because he needs to take care of me, so our finances are stretched thin. Since I am the veteran, my credit has to meet certain requirements to be approved for the VA loan. I have a very short window to pay off these debts, and as desperate and embarrassed as I feel, I know I have to do whatever I can to get my family where they belong.
