Help a U.S. Army Veteran and His Family Avoid Homelessness
Donation protected
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Joshua Groce, a dedicated U.S. Army veteran, who is facing an unimaginable crisis. Last year he separated from the Army after years of service to our country. Since then, he, his wife, and their young son have been living full-time in a 5th wheel RV saving every penny to build a home.
Unfortunately, their neighbors reported them to the county over a minor code violation causing them to be forced out of their only place to live. This petty and unnecessary action has placed their family in dire straits. They are desperately trying to renovate an old trailer, over 60 years old and falling apart, to make it livable and avoid homelessness.
This family is in their darkest hour. They are working tirelessly to create a safe space for their child: but they need help. RV parks are fully booked, and the costs are beyond their reach. My friend works full-time, and his wife is about to start working too; if they can't find a solution, they fear they will lose their jobs and their family's stability.
I am reaching out with a plea from the depths of my heart. Please, if you can, help this veteran keep a roof over his family's heads. Time is running out – they need to find a solution by June 22nd. Your support could be the difference between a stable life and unimaginable hardship for this veteran's family.
