Help a Union Family Cover Insurance Premiums Before Surgery

My name is Briarlynn, and I’m asking for help covering about $2,000 in out-of-pocket insurance premiums so I can reactivate my wife, Brandi’s, union insurance for an upcoming surgery on June 29.
Brandi has been laid off since January. After a few months, our insurance coverage was cut off unless we could pay the premiums ourselves. We haven't been able to cover the costs as it is over 3 times what Indiana unemployment is, and now we are now down to the wire.
I am scheduled for surgery on June 29 to treat vaginal stenosis. This is my second vaginoplasty-related surgery. After my first surgery, I had a complication, and despite doing everything I was supposed to do, I still ended up with stenosis. And this upcoming surgery requires a prior authorization.
Right now, the biggest obstacle is reactivating the insurance long enough for the prior authorization process and the surgery itself. If we cannot get the premiums paid in time, I may have to reschedule, which would be emotionally and medically difficult after already getting this close. Imagine how you'd feel if your vagina closed.
Brandi is a proud dues paying member of the IBEW Local 725 and is still waiting to be called back to work. We are hoping for a little help and solidarity from friends, coworkers, union family, and anyone who is able to share or give.
The money raised will go directly toward the out-of-pocket insurance premiums needed to keep coverage active for this surgery. Anything extra, if there is any, will go toward related medical costs and GoFundMe fees.
Even a small amount helps. Sharing this also helps more than you know. From the bottom of my heart thank you for your solidarity and helping us get through this final stretch.
