The recent increase in ICE activity across the Twin Cities has deeply impacted many of our students and their families. Several are afraid to leave their homes, making it unsafe for them to go to work or school. One of my students has been unable to attend school, and their family is facing significant hardship. Loved ones have been detained, and parents have been unable to work, leaving them without the income they need for basic necessities.
This family is struggling to make rent and care for their preschool child with special needs. The uncertainty and fear have made daily life incredibly difficult. As their teacher, I am collecting donations to help provide funds, food, and essential household items for this family during this challenging time.
If you are able to contribute in any way, your support would make a meaningful difference for this family. Every donation helps them feel less alone and brings hope during a time of crisis. Thank you for considering a gift to support neighbors in need.
