Hello, I'm a trans woman currently facing eviction. I need to raise a minimum of $592 by my trial date on June 16th in order to stay housed.

I'm currently living in a subsidized apartment, but when I moved in on the first week of January this year, I suddenly lost my previous job. Rent has been difficult to come by since then. I've struggled with poverty and homelessness all my life, and your contribution will help me escape falling back into that cycle of poverty.

Recently, I got hired at a new job as a social worker helping the underprivileged and unhoused and will be able to pay off my rent following this month. Any contributions over the indicated amount will be used to pay off the $1800 remaining balance I owe.

My dream is to stick roots into this apartment, this community, and this career to eventually work with underprivileged youth so I can help pause the same cycles of poverty and homelessness I faced in childhood.
