My friend, Seth, is a trans man living in South Africa, where every day brings new dangers because of his identity and circumstances. He is also autistic, and he has no family or safety nets to turn to. Back in November he was beaten by three men simply for being transgender. He faces ongoing threats, violence, conversion therapy, spiritual abuse, and he has been repeatedly denied employment because companies refuse to hire a transgender person.
Access to gender affirming care has also become increasingly unstable.
Seth lives with PTSD, night terrors, and constant fear. He desperately needs to get to safety.
Working with animals is Seth's main goal in life. Your support will help him find safe, stable housing, cover visa and immigration costs, access healthcare, gender affirming care, and trauma counseling and a chance to find job opportunities where he isn't rejected simply for being trans.
He needs a future where he can live without fear, sleep peacefully, and help animals, the work that gives his life meaning. Every transgender person deserves this and with your help, he can get to safety.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help him move toward safety, stability, and hope. Sharing the fundraiser will also help Seth reach more people who care. Thank you for standing with him and making a difference.
