Help a Somali mother rebuild home after flood
Donation protected
Asalamu Alaykum Everyone,
I’m currently raising funds for Fatima Said and her children, a Somali mother whose home was damaged in a flood. The roof has caved in, which means rain continues to flood the house. As well as this, the family has lost much of their belongings because of the flood and the structural integrity of the house is in question. The bathroom/ toilet and the kitchen are out of bounds due to damaged plumbing. Sadly, because the roof had caved in, animals come into the house at night for shelter which is not safe for the children.
This is all truly heartbreaking and what makes it worse, the family are unable to relocate to a safer place as they live in a small village with many families facing a similar situation.
We therefore appeal to your generosity to help us with this fundraiser in whichever way you can. You donate, share the link and keep this family in your Duas to help it gain traction.
Consider this a sadaqa jariya, for everyday someone is using this home, your rewards will multiply. Allah promises Muslims who give to charity increased wealth and success in this life:
“Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.”
(Al Hadeed 57:18)
Warmest regards and sincerest thanks from your sister, Hafsa Hassan.
