12/2025 update
We are still looking for temporary bit stable housing. Anything helps get us closer to that. I DoorDash everyday for income and still offer my services for massage therapy, house/pet-sitting, balloon animal art, wherever I can!
We are currently in Nashville and had hoped to stay through Christmas at least but it’s so cold we will need to get back to a warmer southern spot.

Aloha! Thank you for even coming this far. I am humbly coming to ask for help, this last year has been very hard on my small family. I am asking for help for $5,000 to help us restart our lives. I am moving out of Texas and need help to get a deposit and rent together while I find a job and get care for Olivia.
If you’re not familiar with our story, I am a solo mom, I have been raising my daughter who is now six years old on my own since the beginning of pregnancy. She is the product of DV, and her bio Dad refuses to give any support mentally financially or physically.
I am limited on the work that I can do, due to a back injury from years ago. when I was 16 I had a small concussion after being thrown off a pony and my neck and left shoulder have never felt the same again. Then when I was 24 I was hit on my bicycle by an SUV. I was left in the middle of the road as they sped off. I was a half mile from my home and just “walked it off” I’ve suffered intense pain and lost many jobs since then, because I can not physically meet the requirements due to these injuries.
This last year, I got mold poisoning at my job and ended up sick for weeks, ended up losing the job as I wasn’t able to come back to work Due to still being very weak and weird inflammation all over my body.
During the time that I was suffering through the job, and job loss, i still met all my bills. I took out massive debt as my family could not help support us. I was also in a very poor apartment complex. We had no heat through the winter, the maintenance man sexually harassed me, our ceilings leaked every single time it rained. I requested our do my lease on March when we had been without heat for three months and was denied.
And finally in June, they allowed me out of my lease, however, we have been living on the road since then, or with generous friends. When we left in June, I had hoped to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee- where I have friends and connections. But without funds to rent a room, there’s just no way to get started again. I also do not have any living space in Texas so that is also not even an option to return to.
I’m trying to raise enough to rent a room somewhere for three months so we can get settled and I can get back on my feet and I can get my Massage license in a new state. And I can open a new business. I am a trades worker and earn upwards of $125/hr so please don’t come at me with how I should be working three jobs. I literally can’t with my disability anyway.
$8000 is the goal. I hope many show up with love and compassion and exceed this need.
I’ve not received food stamps for two years, I pay for everything. My family cannot help very much and those who can already have.
So I rely on the kindness and love and charity of friends and strangers. I am so thankful for everyone who has already helped this year, keeping us afloat, but the need is greater than those that I know can handle, so please share this with your friends and your relatives.
