Please Help a Single Mother of Three Before Ramadan ( ZAKAT ELIGIBLE)

I ( Amal Mohoud and Amina Jamal) writing this on behalf of a sister who is a single mother of three children and is facing an incredibly difficult period in her life.

With Ramadan approaching, she is struggling to meet even the most basic needs. At the moment, she does not have enough groceries in her home to prepare meals for her children, let alone for suhoor or iftar. What should be a month of mercy and reflection has become a time filled with worry and uncertainty.

She is behind on rent and owes money to people who supported her during times of hardship. On top of this, interest on her debts continues to grow, making it impossible for her to catch up. Every payment goes toward interest rather than reducing what she owes.

At this time, she is unable to work, and is relying on limited support while trying to care for her three children. Between managing her household, overwhelming debt, and the risk of further legal action, she has reached a point where she cannot do this alone.

We are asking for $30,000 to help cover rent arrears, clear urgent debts and accumulated interest, and stabilize her situation so she can start fresh. This support would mean food on the table during Ramadan, safety and stability for her children, and relief from constant financial and emotional stress.
