Help a Single Mom With Car Repairs & Relocation

As a single mother of three, I’ve spent years working hard to provide for my family and keep us moving forward. In April, my daughter was in a car accident. Thankfully, she’s okay, but we’re still dealing with ongoing medical needs. The accident left my car totaled, and even after insurance, I was left with a balance to pay off. Desperate to keep working and caring for my kids, I purchased a used car, but it quickly developed serious issues. Despite the dealership’s initial help, I’m now facing a repair bill I can’t afford, all while juggling two jobs and trying to stay afloat.

For nearly nine years, I’ve commuted over 40 miles each day to work in public schools, hoping to be on my children’s schedule and save on daycare costs. I also work in an afterschool program for extra income, but the long days and low pay have made it hard to get ahead. Living with family since 2015, I stayed to help care for my mom during her illness, and after her passing, I’ve continued to struggle to find stable housing for my family. Moving closer to work would help reduce my expenses and give us a fresh start, but I need help with car repairs, a deposit, first month’s rent, and moving costs.
