My friend and colleague is a single mother who works extremely hard with me in an outpatient healthcare center. She works tirelessly for her patients all while managing to care for her four young children and her cousin on her own. Her strength and dedication have always inspired those around her.

Recently, a fire broke out in her building, in the apartment below her one-bedroom rental, leaving her and her family with almost nothing. The damage and safety concerns forced her, her four kids, and her cousin to leave their home immediately. Now they are living together in a hotel room, unable to return to their apartment and most of their belongings are lost or completely ruined. The sudden loss has left them without even the most basic necessities, and the uncertainty of when they can go home has been incredibly difficult for the entire family.

The funds raised here will help her buy clothes, toiletries, food staples, and other essentials so she can begin to rebuild and provide for her family again.
