Hello, my name is Tima M. I am a single mom raising my little boy on my own.

I brought my husband to the U.S., supported him for years until he got his papers, and gave him every chance to build a stable family with us. Once he got what he wanted, he left us. He even took my car without paying a cent for it — a car that I fully paid for — and has refused to return it. He left me with all the responsibilities, bills, and stress, while never providing anything for our son.

To make things worse, he has been irresponsible, using substances that make him unstable, and now, after abandoning us, he is trying to fight me for custody. I want to protect my child, secure custody, and also fight to get my car back — because it represents not just money, but my hard work and independence.

I am doing everything I can: working full-time, looking for a second job, and carrying a lot on my shoulders. But legal fees are overwhelming, and I cannot do this fight alone.
