Help a single mom on disability get a new scooter

Donation protected

I was driving home from work and saw someone struggling with their motorized scooter through the thick ice that was all over the sidewalk. She had gotten off her scooter and was pushing it through the ice and having a very hard time. I pulled over and offered to give her a ride home and found out in the process of pushing her scooter through the ice it had broken, to the point where she cannot fix it. She told me she was on subsidized housing and disability and she couldn't afford a new one and disability wouldn't cover a new one. She is a single mom of a 14 year old boy and this is her only form of transportation.  She needs this to get to her dr's appt's, the hospital, to get groceries, everything.

I asked for her phone number and she gave it to me and I want to surprise her with a new scooter. Her name is bre and she is very kind, this is all I know as I had just met her last night for the first time when I offered her a ride home but it's very evident life has handed her some tough cards from what she's shared. I want to make this happen for her, she deserves it and I know this incredible community can come together to make it happen for her.

I can't thank you enough for your contribution, you have no idea how life changing this is for her, all because of your kindness.
