My aunt is a hardworking and loving single mother of three children. She has always done her best to give them a safe and stable life, even when times were difficult. Her kids mean everything to her, and she has been their only source of support and care.

She has now been detained for over 20 days after being taken into custody. Because of one missed court date when she had to move out of state, she was given a deportation order. The lawyers we have spoken with ask for money, but in the end, many families are simply told there is nothing that can be done. Sadly, this is happening to many mothers; even some with U.S. citizen children, who are being held for months at the Montgomery ICE Processing Center.

Her three children are left without their mother at home, scared and uncertain of what will happen next. We are raising funds to help cover rent, groceries, school expenses, and legal costs while we fight for her and support her children. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward keeping these three kids safe and cared for during this incredibly difficult time.

Los abogados con los que hemos hablado piden dinero, pero al final a muchas familias solo les dicen que no se puede hacer nada.
