Help Rachel Get a Laptop for School
Hi friends, my name is Faun Schlosser, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Rachel Watts. We were raised by a single momma too, and sadly she passed away Nov. 2014 at 51 years young. We have eachother though and we're so blessed for that! My sister is one of the strongest women I know—and right now, she could really use a helping hand.
Rachel is a single mom of two young girls and a 1 son who is recent Bulldog graduate. Over the past year, she has faced huge challenges with grace and determination—working full-time (often over 40 hours a week!) while also going back to school to finish her high school diploma and even take on a certificate program. She’s balancing it all: being a mom, working hard, and studying to create a better life for her family. I couldn’t be prouder of her. ❤️
The one thing standing in her way right now is consistent access to a reliable computer. Her school requires regular online access, but unfortunately, the district doesn’t have loaner laptops available. Rachel has been making do with limited library hours between her 40+ hour work shifts and parenting—but it’s just not enough to keep up with her demanding class schedule.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. ✨
We’re raising funds to help purchase a reliable laptop that will allow Rachel to:
* Complete her school assignments on time
* Stay connected with her teachers and resources
* Continue working toward her diploma and certificate program
Rachel is putting in everything she has to move forward and provide stability for her daughters. A laptop may seem like a small thing, but for her, it will be a life-changing tool on her path to success.
I’ll personally be contributing $25 to get this started, and any amount you can give—big or small—will go directly toward helping Rachel stay on track with school. If you aren’t able to donate, simply sharing this campaign would also mean the world.
Thank you for showing up with such generosity and love for a hardworking mom who refuses to give up. Together, we can give Rachel the support she deserves.
With gratitude,
Faun
