On July 7th, I was injured and my doctor placed me on FMLA. As a single mom, this injury has made everyday life incredibly hard. Right now, I can’t fully care for myself — my young son has been stepping up to help me cook, walk, pick up things off the floor, and handle so many of the day-to-day things I can’t manage right now.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to return to work, and I’m doing my best to keep things together for my son and myself. But the truth is, we can’t make it through this alone. Without help, we risk losing everything we’ve worked so hard for.

I’m asking for help from my community so we can cover basic needs like groceries, utilities, and other living expenses while I recover. Any amount — no matter how small — will help us stay stable during this difficult time.
