I am a single mother of five beautiful girls—two sets of twins and a middle child—who are my whole world. My oldest twins are 12 years old, my middle daughter is 8, and my youngest twins are just 12 months old. Life has always been a challenge as a single parent, but this year has been especially hard. I had to stop working to care for my youngest twins because daycare is simply not affordable, and as a result, we lost our home and our car was repossessed. We are now facing homelessness, and I am doing everything I can to keep my girls safe and cared for.

With the holidays here, it breaks my heart that I can’t provide the Christmas my daughters deserve. They are in need of warm clothes, shoes, and a few gifts to bring some joy to their season. More than anything, we dream of having a safe place to call home again. Every day, I remind my girls to have hope, but it’s hard when so much feels uncertain.
