Help Me Keep My Daughters Safe and Secure
Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
I’m a retired U.S. Navy Chief and proud father of two amazing daughters, ages 6 and 9. For the past several years, I have fought to protect their well-being and provide a safe, stable, and loving home. In 2023, I went through an intense custody battle to secure full custody of my girls. It was a long, exhausting process — emotionally, financially, and mentally.
So far, I’ve paid my attorney $38,000 to fight for what’s in my children’s best interest. I still owe $15,000 from that trial. My attorney has been unwavering in his dedication to this case, but in order to continue representing me in the upcoming court battle this September, I do need to make some significant payment progress on the remaining balance owed.
The children’s mother plans to return to court seeking more custodial time, which I firmly believe is not in the best interest of the children. This fight is far from over, and I cannot face it without the legal representation that has carried us this far.
After the divorce, I was left with $80,000 in marital debt, lost my entire Navy retirement funds, and have been solely responsible for providing everything for my daughters — from housing and food to school supplies, clothing, and medical needs. I’m currently working as a playground monitor at my daughters’ elementary school while pursuing my master’s degree in education — fully funded through the VA. I live modestly, prioritize my girls above all else, and stretch every dollar I earn. But this legal bill is too large for me to cover alone in the short time we have before court.
I’m asking for your help to raise $5,000 to pay off the remaining attorney’s fees so that I can continue to fight for my daughters’ safety, stability, and future. Every donation — no matter the amount — gets us closer to ensuring my girls have the secure life they deserve.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for standing with us during this. Your support means the world to me and my daughters.
