Help a single dad of two amazing little one!

Hello friends and family,
This is very hard for me to do. I have worked hard my whole life to make ends meet, but 2020 has had me against the ropes.
I am the single father of two amazing children. Quin( age 9) and Hudson (age 4). Currently, I am in the middle of an intense custody battle. So far things are working out. I have temporary custody of my two children, and I can keep them safe. But the amount of stress and emotional trauma me and the children have been through has been a lot to deal with. During this time, like many of us these days, I have lost the job which severely cut my income. Luckily, I was able to get unemployment benefits to help with my day to day needs. I have been able to stay at home with my 2 children. I have been able to home school them which has been a dream ever since I first taught my oldest to read. Watching them learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that is custom-built for them has been a joy for me.
BUT the other side of this has been a major challenge. Even with the benefits I receive, the high cost of living in Seattle, and the overshadowing cost for a lawyer have all taken their toll. I can work odd jobs( gardening, landscaping, cooking(when I can), and whatever anyone needs) But ATM I am limited with work I can accept due to me being the sole caregiver for my children. At times, I can bring my children to work with me, but that poses its own set of issues. So after trying all that I can, I am reaching out to you all for help. It is hard because I do not like to ask for handouts, but I have realized I have to do this for my children. By getting help via donations from you, I will be able to continue what I have been doing. Fight for full custody of my two children, can provide a safe nurturing environment where they can continue to be safe, loved, thrive, and be themselves. I have a very good lawyer working hard for me. But this comes with a price tag to justify it. And trying to keep up with the fees, I have gotten behind in rent. I have also had to juggle which bills to pay, causing me to get behind as well. I am doing all of this for the best reason I can think of, but if I don't get ahead soon, there is a risk that I can lose not just my children, but everything.
I know times are challenging for everyone and hate to ask for help. For all of you that can donate to this, I am forever grateful. It will not go wasted. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
