Help a Single Dad Navy Veteran Widower

Hi! My name is Jon Rennie, and I’m a former US Navy Submarine Officer, husband, and proud father of two amazing sons.

I’m asking you to donate whatever you can spare to help out one of my best friends who is truly in need. Roger Gagnon is also a veteran US Navy Surface Warfare Officer and a proud father of two special needs teenagers, Chloe and Jack.

But sadly, in January 2020, right before COVID, he lost his wife tragically in a major hospital medical malpractice incident. Deanna was only 49 years old and had entered the hospital with just a broken ankle.

Roger and his children were hit very hard by this. There was also a large financial burden of arranging caregivers for his special needs teenagers while he worked. Because of this financial burden, Roger has had to sell many of his possessions, including the car that his late wife had bought for him just a year before she passed away. He has had to do all this just to make ends meet.

Roger is currently renting a house and must move out by July 2024. He is looking to buy a modest house to start over again with his family. He is trying to raise $15,000 for moving expenses and a small downpayment on the new home.
