Help a Single Afro-Inuk Mother Secure Housing

A 24 year old single Afro-Inuk mother was recently informed that she has 2 months to relocate from her current home in Ottawa. This young mother has a 6 month old baby and is on maternity-leave, meaning she has no additional source of income past the small government capped financial support. Because she is on maternity-leave she can't access funding from subsidies like Ontario Works.

We're looking to raise $8000 to secure housing for her, movers and food and additional supplies for the next few months. Raising these funds will mean so much to her as she currently doesn't have any support from family and is solely relying on herself and her small group of friends.
