Dear community, I am turning to you again to help my father through sickness and recovery. After having a very strong heart attack in October 2023, during the war, and miraculously surviving it, I have created a fundraiser to help my father with his medical bills and the expenses he needs to provide for my younger siblings, grandmother and mother. Since then, he has slowly recovered and went back to work, which isn't going so great due to the strong impact of the war on us, as we live in a frontline village.

Sadly, this month, my father's health deteriorated again. He got infected with Pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the fibrous sac surrounding the heart. He again has to close his shop and cut off his work. He has been in the hospital under supervision with oxygen attached to his breath all the time. Pericarditis is especially dangerous and hard to overcome for people with prior heart conditions, this is why I'm extremely worried, and I want to help my father with anything that could worry him, as we need his mental health to be strongest. This fundraiser is to take care of all the bills he would need, and to make him rest his mind and not worry and only focus on recovery. He generally works unhuman hours at the shop: standing all day, 12 hour shifts, in an unhealthy environment full of smoke. I don't want him to have to go back to that, when he still needs to recover.
