My name is Vy and I am starting this GoFundMe to support my beloved friend Karime Gordillo Sanchez. She recently had a little boy named Enrique Azariel Pineda Gordillo. A few months later, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has taken away the little boy's father and a wife's husband. Unfortunately, for the first year of Enrique's life, he was barely able to be with his dad. Ever since he was taken away, my friend, Karime, had to independently make money to support herself, her child, and to get her husband back so he can be there for his first birthday. With a minimum wage job, I see her tirelessly coming in early, constantly offering to work overtime, working on her days off, and working a second job just to make ends meet. She's now having to face difficult choices like selling her car or having to temporarily give her kid away to her parents. On top of these challenges she is facing, she also had to deal with countless medical issues and constantly having too go to hospital for her baby.

This GoFundMe's goal is to not just raise money to help Karime but to also help a mother going through what no mother should go through. I want to give her a chance to take a break, be with her child for more than just 12 hours, be able to relax, enjoy the summer, make precious memories with her family. Anything will do, even just your prayers.
