Ever since my son was a young boy, he always dreamed of being in the army, serving our country, and making me proud. When my son graduated high school, he took the practice test and scored very high, "of course, like I knew he would." He was shipped out to basic training at the end of July. He has 10 weeks of training, and then he will graduate in the beginning of October 2025.

Family is allowed to come visit for family day and the graduation ceremony.

I've been a single mother of two children. It's just me, my two kids, and granddaughter in our family. As a mom, I can't miss his graduation ceremony and miss him so much, words can't describe. I'm in New York and need help to get to Oklahoma and back. It's a two-day event, and I need some place to stay while visiting as well. I'm trying my best to save what I possibly can, but I know it won't be enough to cover for myself, my daughter, and granddaughter's expenses to be there for my son.
