Hi, my name is Ffion, and I’ve suddenly become a single mummy to my 6 month old son after my fiancée walked out on us.

I met my ex fiancée in March 2024, and it was a whirlwind, within a month he deployed to another country with the military, for 6 months. When he came home, we started planning our future together. We got engaged in January 2025, and found out in the February we were expecting our first baby. That set us off on planning housing, a baby, and dreaming of the life we wanted to build together.

About a month ago, my ex fiancée started spending more time with someone I had never heard of and less time at home with his family. I’ve since found out he’s been having an affair for the last month and lying about it, and gaslighting me into thinking I was going crazy. He’s now walked out on me, our son and our dog leaving me to shoulder all of this with no money, no savings and no idea what to do next.

I'm trying to raise funds in order to move out of my in-laws house, but due to my ex fiancée, I have no money and no savings.

with funds raised I could pay the deposit for a rental home, buy my son a bed, and a few other furnishings for our home.

this is not the life I planned for myself or for my son, and the last thing I want to do is fail him by not having a stable home for us to settle in.
