The day before Mother's Day, a mother received a phone call no one ever hopes to receive: her house was on fire. Local fire crews responded swiftly with support from local area resources and were able to extinguish the fire within 30 minutes, but it was a complete and total loss. The house and all of its contents were destroyed by the fire. Due to an estate transfer process, the mother did not have homeowners insurance. Her whole life was ripped from her in less than an hour. We are asking for support and help to allow her to get back on her feet and rebuild her life from essentially scratch.
