I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but life has taken an unexpected and difficult turn for me and my children.
Recently, we were forced out of our home due to severe, undisclosed mold that made us sick. What was supposed to be a safe place for my family turned into a health hazard, and we had no choice but to leave. As a result, we are now displaced and trying to rebuild while navigating an ongoing legal situation surrounding the home.
In the middle of all this, I am doing everything I can to stay afloat. I own and operate my own business, which requires me to travel back and forth—about 2.5 hours each way (over 4 hours total)—just to continue working and providing for my family. This has been physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming.
At the same time, I am in the process of relocating to Texas to be closer to my children and create a more stable and healthy environment for them. However, even after relocating, I will still need to fly back and forth to West Virginia regularly to keep my business running. The cost of travel, temporary housing, and basic living expenses is adding up quickly.
I do not qualify for government assistance, so I am reaching out to my community, friends, and anyone willing to support us during this transition.
Your support will go toward:
* Travel expenses (gas and flights for work)
* Temporary and stable housing
* Basic living expenses for me and my children
* Rebuilding after this unexpected displacement
No amount is too small, and even sharing this fundraiser means more than you know.
This has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life, but I am committed to pushing forward, rebuilding, and creating a safe, healthy future for my children.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give.
With gratitude,
