My name is Caitlin. I am a young 25-year-old mother to two young children, and I am currently navigating an extremely difficult and unexpected chapter of my life.

I am a survivor of domestic violence and I am currently involved in a legal situation involving a civil protection order and family court matters. These proceedings are ongoing, and out of respect for the court process, I cannot share specific details or make legal accusations here. What I can share is that I am doing everything in my power to ensure safety, stability, and consistency for my children during this time.

Like many survivors navigating the legal system, I am facing this on my own as I am living in a state with no family or support system. I haven't been able to secure an attorney through legal aid because their caseload is full. I can't afford to pay for an attorney on my own. I have had to go to court twice now and represent myself, and it has directly impacted my children since I have no legal counsel, potentially putting them at risk.

I am seeking support to help cover:

- Attorney and legal consultation fees

- Court filing and documentation costs

- Essential household and child-related expenses during this transition

- Basic living expenses while I work toward long-term stability

I have always been independent and resourceful, and asking for help does not come easily. But right now, my focus has been on protecting my children, staying organized through the legal process, and rebuilding a secure foundation for our future.
