Help a mother of 5 start over after losing everything

It feels like God is telling me: Don’t wait to share your testimony until after the storm—let them witness the journey, the fall, and the faith it takes to rise again. So here I am, sharing my story, not because it’s easy, but because I believe in hope and fresh starts.
I’m a mother of five, born and raised in Miami. This past year has been the hardest we’ve ever faced. I’ve always been private about my struggles, but I can’t hide it anymore—my babies and I need help.
Four months ago, I lost my job. Since then, I’ve been doing hair, taking side jobs, entering competitions—anything to stay afloat. But it just hasn’t been enough. We’ve tried everything: dashing, hustling, leaning on every resource we could find. Still, we fell short.
This week, we were hit with a 24-hour eviction notice. Thanks to a few friends, family members, and the last bit of money we had, we managed to rent a storage unit and a U-Haul. But we have nowhere to go—our only plan now is to get to Georgia, where my sister has opened her home to us until I can get back on my feet.
We’re asking for any help you can give to help us make it to Georgia and start over. Every dollar helps—whether it goes toward gas, food, or shelter for my kids. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but I have faith that better days are coming.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for any support you can give.
With love and gratitude,
