<div>I’m a mother of five, born and raised in Miami. This past year has been the hardest we’ve ever faced. I’ve always been private about my struggles, but I can’t hide it anymore—my babies and I need help.

<div>Four months ago, I lost my job. Since then, I’ve been doing hair, taking side jobs, entering competitions—anything to stay afloat. But it just hasn’t been enough. We’ve tried everything: dashing, hustling, leaning on every resource we could find. Still, we fell short.

<div>This week, we were hit with a 24-hour eviction notice. Thanks to a few friends, family members, and the last bit of money we had, we managed to rent a storage unit and a U-Haul. But we have nowhere to go—our only plan now is to get to Georgia, where my sister has opened her home to us until I can get back on my feet.
