Hi, I’m Orion Spinks. I am a resident of North Carolina currently. I have aspirations in broadcasting journalism, art, and music.

I am raising funds for a family in the G Strip who are under extreme circumstances. With famine rising immensely in the region from the lack of aid entry and extreme pricing, the Sohad family suffers from severe malnutrition and sickness. This family consists of a breastfeeding mother and her 4 children. They live in a building with no windows, no electricity, and no water. With extremely expensive rent costs and no source of income, they are facing potential eviction.

How will the money be spent?

The money will be used towards all basic essentials of life: food, clothing, shelter, water, medicine, and hopefully evacuation when that time comes.

How will the money be received?

Since the Sohad family has no access to a phone, I will send the money through PayPal to another friend of mine in the area, Hanna Olwan, who introduced me to the family and urged me to create this campaign. She will then distribute the money to the family as she lives near them.
