Help a Mother & Daughter Rebuild Stability

Hi, my name is Gloria—I'm a mother, a creative, and a care-centered professional trying to rebuild from a challenging year with strength, purpose, and love. After dislocating my knee last fall and relocating to NYC to be closer to my support system, I’ve faced housing instability, unemployment over the summer (as a substitute teacher), and a long custody battle that recently shifted in my favor—after my daughter’s father escalated his verbal and emotional abuse to physical violence. I now have full custody, but little time to prepare.

Right now, I’m still without stable housing and working to secure an apartment I'm in final stages for. I’m also facing car tickets I must pay to avoid being booted or towed, preparing to start a new job on June 30th, and trying to get my daughter into summer camp, as her father refused to co-create a summer schedule. On top of that, I’m covering urgent medical expenses: she needs glasses and prescription eye drops for her vision, which are not covered by insurance.

I am not asking for charity—I’m sharing an opportunity to help us rise and offering something meaningful in return: a shirt from my self-designed “Powerful on Purpose” collection. These shirts represent what I’m fighting for: a life where women like me don’t have to choose between healing, caregiving, and survival.
