I'm speaking to you today on behalf of a dear loved one, and her two children who have made the hardest decision of their lives: to walk away from a life of abuse and control.

Leaving is never easy. It takes an incredible amount of strength to choose safety when the path forward is uncertain and the resources are few.

While they have found safety, the financial burden of starting from zero is overwhelming. When you flee to protect your life and your children, you often leave with nothing but the clothes on your back. We are raising funds to help provide the basic foundations of a human life:

• Nourishment: Ensuring the children have healthy meals and basic groceries.

• Essentials: Providing clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies for the boys.

• Stability: Helping this mother regain her independence so she can provide a peaceful, fear-free home for her kids.
