I’ve sat with this message for weeks- writing, rewriting, feeling the shame, grief, and resistance rise and fall. But the truth remains:

I need support. Not because I’m broken, because I’m building something only truth can fund. I revoke all old stories that say I must suffer silently to be strong.

During Hurricane Helene, I chose not to fundraise, even while in need, because I knew so many others were hurting too. But the truth is: like many single mothers, I’ve been holding the long-term weight of survival mostly on my own.

If you don’t know me…

I’m a single mother to my daughter Wren, navigating ongoing transitions while holding the full responsibility of our life path with depth and devotion. I’ve carried a great deal quietly, choosing presence over performance, care over collapse.

But I’ve reached a threshold that I cannot cross alone.

Why I’m Asking for Support Now:

Medical Dental Need:

I’m facing a significant dental situation involving two retained baby teeth that now show signs of periodontal deterioration. If left untreated, this could lead to bone loss and permanent damage. This is not cosmetic, it’s medical. It’s time-sensitive. And it’s essential.

I’ve delayed this care for years due to financial limitations. I now require surgical extractions, bone grafts, gum grafting and implant restoration.

These procedures are either covered under state insurance in California (if I can relocate and apply), or can be done out-of-pocket in Mexico or Costa Rica for significantly less than in the U.S.

Health-Based Relocation

To access either path of care, I must relocate. This includes travel costs, basic support while establishing care, and legal/veterinary documents for our cat, Kohl. Whether I go through the state route or international route, this window requires resources.

Transition Support:

While I continue building my offerings, this moment requires temporary support to stabilize, stay healthy, and move forward from a place of strength, not desperation.

Nutritional + Herbal Medicine Support:

Part of my healing includes beginning a Traditional Chinese Medicine protocol to support deep depletion, immune function, and gum repair. These formulas work on Kidney Yang (core energy), Spleen Qi (digestion + mineral absorption), and Liver Qi (emotional release + inflammation).

I also need access to nutrient-dense foods like broths, teas, and warming meals. If you’d like to support this layer, even small contributions directly help me stay in my body and continue showing up for my daughter and this life.

This reflects a grounded, realistic estimate of what’s needed to cross this threshold with dignity and safety.

• Used Vehicle OR Relocation Flights & Setup: $3–5K

• Temporary Housing, Food, & Basic Needs: $2–3K

• Vet Travel Documents for Kohl: $500–1K

If the goal is exceeded, additional funds will go toward continued stabilization and health care needs.
