My name is Chase-Lyn, and I am a single mother to seven beautiful children. After years of living under false imprisonment and enduring emotional, psychological, and physical abuse, we have finally been repatriated to the United States with the help of the Brazilian police and the American embassy. Our story was so harrowing and life-threatening that it shocked the nation of Brazil, making national headlines. We are free from the grip of a controlling and dangerous situation, but the road to rebuilding our lives is just beginning.

For years, my children and I lived in constant fear, trapped in a cycle of abuse that we couldn’t escape. The man who was supposed to protect us betrayed us in every way possible. We were isolated, manipulated, and hurt. Eventually, we were falsely imprisoned, and we suffered as a family under conditions that no one should ever endure. It took everything we had just to survive.

Now that we are safe in the U.S., we are slowly working to rebuild our lives, but the challenges are overwhelming. We are starting over with almost nothing, and we need your help to get back on our feet.

Travel Expenses: We owe the American embassy for repatriation costs, which we are struggling to repay.
