Hi, my name is Sonee, and I’m the mom of an amazing little boy who has Sanfilippo Syndrome — a rare, degenerative disorder that affects children in many ways. Our lives revolve around appointments, therapy sessions, and traveling to specialists who can give him the care he needs and deserves.
But lately, our biggest challenge has become something most people take for granted — getting there safely. My car has become unreliable, and I worry every time we have to travel. Some of our trips are hours away, and the thought of breaking down with my son in the car keeps me up at night.
I still owe nearly $10,000 on my current vehicle, and unfortunately, its trade-in value is much lower than what’s left on the loan. That makes it nearly impossible to replace it without paying off the difference first — and with medical costs, travel expenses, and daily living, that just isn’t something I can manage right now on my own.
I’m asking for help to pay off the remaining balance on my car loan so I can trade it in for a reliable vehicle that will safely get my son to and from his medical appointments. This isn’t about luxury or convenience — it’s about safety, stability, and being able to show up for my son’s care without fear of breaking down on the road.
Every donation, no matter how small, moves us one step closer to that peace of mind. Even sharing this campaign helps more than you know.
My son teaches me every single day about strength, courage, and love. I just want to make sure I can keep him safe and get him where he needs to go. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us on this journey. Your kindness truly means the world to our family.
