Our coworker, neighbor, and friend, Mary-Ann Epps, and two of her children were recently involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by an uninsured motorist.
Emergency responders transported Mary-Ann and her two children by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Due to the seriousness of her oldest daughter’s condition, she was later transferred to UC Davis Children's Hospital for ongoing care, monitoring, and possible surgery.
While we are incredibly grateful they survived, the road ahead will be long. Their vehicle was completely totaled, and although insurance will cover some expenses, it will not come close to addressing the full financial impact of this accident.
The family is currently staying in a hotel near the hospital so they can remain close to their daughter during this critical time. Between medical bills, temporary lodging, meals, and transportation, the financial strain is quickly becoming overwhelming.
As a community, we have always come together in times of need. Now is our chance to rally around Mary-Ann and her children, to help lift some of this burden and allow them to focus on healing and being together.
Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward medical expenses, temporary housing, and replacing their vehicle. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping this family in your thoughts.
Thank you for showing the strength, compassion, and generosity that make our community so special.
