My name must stay anonymous, as I’m a mother of children fighting to break free from years of domestic abuse and rebuild our lives with safety, dignity, and justice.

I never thought I’d be the one writing something like this — I’ve always been the strong one, the problem solver, the professional who held everything together. But after surviving multiple violent assaults that left me with severe spinal and shoulder injuries and four reconstructive surgeries, I’ve learned that even the strongest people sometimes need help.

Despite medical records, police reports, and a clear pattern of violence, I have been forced to fight for basic protection and fairness through a court system that continues to favor my abuser — a man with prior felony convictions, multiple violations of court orders, and a long history of domestic violence.

Right now, I’m facing overwhelming legal fees and medical bills from the abuse.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

Legal representation to protect my rights and ensure my children’s safety

Medical expenses and ongoing costs from multiple spinal surgeries and shoulder reconstruction.

Safe housing and relocation expenses as I rebuild our lives

This isn’t just about me — it’s about a broken system that continues to silence victims and reward abusers. My goal is to not only protect my family, but to shine a national light on the failures that keep victims trapped.
