Alexandre and his family are refugees who fled from violence in their home country and sought safety in the United States. However, within two weeks of their arrival in the United States, Alexandre received a devastating diagnosis of terminal cancer. The diagnosis changed the family's hopes and dreams for the future irrevocably. Alexandre is a devoted husband and a father of three young children, for whom he is seeking financial support. Because of the familywas forced to flee their country, they have no personal funds and are currently residing in a homeless shelter. They have been in the shelter all since Alexandre has been undergoing treatment for his cancer.

As he nears the end of his life, his greatest wish is to provide financial support to his wife and three children. When he was told that his treatment was no longer effective, Alexandre asked if we could help him manage his pain so that he could find a job in order to leave some money for his family. Please help us to allow this loving husband and father to rest with the knowledge that his family will have some support when he is gone.
