Help a Loving Undocumented Low-Income Family of 5 Get Their 2 Children Social Security Numbers!

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a warm-hearted Ecuadorian family of five in New Brunswick, NJ. They are no longer facing homelessness thanks to your donations as well as the community sharing places they could stay at. They are currently living in a cramped single room for $800/month, sharing a house with another family. They all sleep on one bed and the children don’t have a front porch or backyard to play in unfortunately. Despite the conditions, they’ve always welcomed me with such kindness. I work with their special-needs son, and I’ve never met a more respectful, loving family.

The father is the sole provider. The mother can’t work right now—she just had a baby and is caring for their two boys. On top of everything, they have an $8,000 medical bill from the baby’s birth.

We need your help—even $5 or $10 goes a long way. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to:

-Pay the $500/per child fee to get their two children born outside of the U.S. social security numbers.

If we can get them both social security numbers, they will start to receive government funded benefits like food or childcare assistance. This type of assistance could greatly impact this low-income family so that they can work for bigger and better things.

I’ll keep the GoFundMe up if it reaches over $1,000 so that they can receive a bit of help with:

-Paying the hospital bill

-Paying necessities like groceries/rent

This is because they receive 0 help from the government due to their being very limited resources for undocumented families. If you know of any resources for them, please feel free to contact me!
