My closest family friend’s house caught fire from what we believe to be an electrical problem last night, July 21st, around 11 pm as he and his wife were asleep. They had just enough time to escape from the residence with their lives. His wife sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns and had to be airlifted to Harborview. He got away with minor burns on his hands from having to unlock and open doors. Unfortunately, their sweet dog did not make it out. They lost absolutely everything in this fire. It consumed their Jeep that they had purchased just a few days earlier, his work truck, the shop next to the house, and more importantly, the thousands of memories that were made in his childhood home that is now a pile of ash and debris.

I’m asking for anything to help with his wife’s medical bills, new clothes, food, and everything else we take for granted in our normal day-to-day lives. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. If you are not able to donate, your thoughts and prayers are always welcomed as there was someone looking down from above to help them escape from this tragedy being much worse than it is.
