I’m refraining from naming him here as he’s going to be furious enough for creating this.

A beloved local Dover DJ — someone many of us know and care about — had their van broken into while parked in a secured CCTV carpark. Thieves drilled into the back and stole everything: thousands of pounds worth of equipment, including stands, booths, laptops, speakers, lights, cables, microphones and hard drives.

But it wasn’t just gear. It was years of music, carefully crafted playlists, personal edits — all gone.

As it stands the police have been informed but CCTV hasn’t been reviewed and they have been advised action to review the CCTV could take up to two weeks.

This person is always the first to help anyone who needs it. Whether you needed a hand, a favour, or just someone to show up and bring good energy — he is there. No fuss, no drama, just quietly showing up for everyone, time and time again.

I’m sure many of us have leaned on him at some point. Now, whether he likes it or not, it’s time to return the favour.

He’s proudly stubborn and would never ask for help himself. In fact, he’ll definitely be very mad at me for setting this up — but if it means he has a little support while going through something this horrible, then I’ll happily take the heat.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping him rebuild — replacing his stolen gear and getting him back behind the decks, where he belongs.
