Help family owned brewery rebuild after break-ins

My name is Fernando and I am here asking for your support to help my dear friends at California Wild Ales in Ocean Beach, California.

California Wild Ales is a business owned by a beautiful local family who through their many efforts have brought joy and happiness to the corner of Newport Ave and Cable St in our beloved OB.

Unfortunately, their business has been targeted by robbers 4 times in the past 19 months, breaking in to take as much as possible from the hard-working hands of our friends. This latest break-in, which happened just days before the holidays, was not only a big loss for the business but also proof that the problem will continue.

I believe that particular corner of our town needs to be better protected, not only for California Wild Ales but for all of the residents as well. Anyone that has walked this area at night knows it becomes a very dark and hidden zone where trouble is almost invited.

For this I am proposing our support for a total of $5K which will be used for the purchase and installation of the following:

1.- A strong metal door to replace the emergency exit door which was destroyed (this was the latest break-in)

2.- A new security system to monitor both the business and the street

3.- The purchase and installation of lights outside California Wild Ales to make the corner much safer at night.

With this effort, I hope we can give back a little to those who continue to work hard to provide us with the fun, family-oriented, friendship heaven that California Wild Ales has become.
