We are a married lesbian couple with a great longing to start a family. Over the years we have become aunties and God-Mamas, and as much love as we have for the little ones in our lives we still have a lot of love to give to a little one of our own! For one reason or other, having a baby has not been in the cards for us. After being married for nearly a decade, having a child to raise and share our hearts with is what we can’t stop thinking about and praying for the right doors to open. Our only setback at this time is getting together the initial finances to get started. As a lesbian couple, no matter what way we choose to start a family is costly. We know times are hard for all of us, and asking for any amount of money is not something we take lightly. Any money we could raise would be such a precious gift to us, and would be used firstly for at-home insemination. Anything above and beyond that will be put towards medical costs and baby things.
